6. Google/YouTube Data Access

You can revoke SubtitleMe’s access to your Google or YouTube account at any time by visiting yourGoogle Account Permissions.

Our application uses Google OAuth for login and YouTube API Services for video-related features. Specifically, we may request the following scopes (only if you intend to use it):

• youtube.readonly – to access your channel data and display it within our app.
• youtube.upload – to allow you to upload videos directly through our service.

  • openid – verifies the user’s identity.
  • email – gives access to the user’s Google email.
  • profile – gives access to basic profile info (name, profile picture).

7. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or Google user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Google user data obtained through OAuth and YouTube API Services is only used within SubtitleMe to provide the requested functionality (such as uploading videos to YouTube or displaying channel details) and is never shared outside of our application.

We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting, storage, or payment processors) solely to operate and maintain our services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for any other purpose.

All use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke SubtitleMe’s access to your Google or YouTube account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions.

8. Aggregated and De-Identified Information

We may share information that has been aggregated or reasonably de-identified, so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify you. For example, we may publish aggregate statistics about how our services are used to improve our offerings or communicate overall usage trends.
